Included scope
What "reasonable edit requests" means.
A reasonable edit is a small content or layout change that fits inside our monthly bucket — typically 5 to 10 changes per month.
Typical examples
- Swapping copy on a page
- Updating a product image
- Replacing a broken plugin
- Adjusting a form field
- Fixing a small bug
Anything larger or recurring weekly is webmaster-level work and falls outside the plan. We will tell you when a request crosses that line before any work starts, and offer a quote for the larger job.
Out of scope
What plans do not cover.
01
Custom development beyond reasonable-edit scope.
02
Full site rebuilds or major redesigns.
03
Migration to a new host (separate service).
04
Design work or content production.
05
Anything outside WordPress (Shopify, Webflow, etc.).
06
Marketing strategy, paid ads, or SEO content production.
07
Ongoing webmaster work (frequent weekly changes, daily content uploads).
Fit
Who Care Plans are — and aren't — for.
This is for you if:
- Sites where downtime costs you money.
- Owners who do not want to think about WordPress updates.
- Businesses with one or two sites and predictable needs.
- WooCommerce stores (Care Premium specifically).
This is not for you if:
- Sites that haven't been launched yet.
- Sites you plan to rebuild in the next 90 days.
- Teams that already have a developer on staff for maintenance.
- Businesses that need daily content uploads or major weekly edits.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
If something isn’t here, email [email protected] — we usually reply within a business day.
Critical issues — site down, checkout broken, security incident — get answered as soon as we see them, including weekends. 24/7 email support means we monitor, not that someone is awake at your phone call. Care Plus and Care Premium issues are routed first.
Yes. Cancel any time with 30 days written notice. No long-term contract. Annual plans are non-refundable past the first 14 days, but you keep the months you paid for.
Yes — most clients come to us with an existing site. We do a free baseline audit during onboarding to flag anything we wouldn’t take responsibility for until it’s resolved.
Most managed WordPress hosts (Kinsta, WP Engine, SiteGround, Cloudways, Bluehost, etc.) and most managed VPS configurations (we don’t manage VPS). We do not work with hosts that block sFTP or SSH access.
WooCommerce sites have more moving parts — payments, taxes, fulfilment, third-party plugins — and the work is materially heavier. Care Premium is priced to actually cover that work without us cutting corners.
That is the Emergency WordPress Diagnostic, not a Care Plan. See it here → The $99 diagnostic fee is credited toward a Care Plan if you sign up within 14 days.
No setup fee. Onboarding (access setup, baseline audit, initial cleanup) is included in your first month. If onboarding reveals work that exceeds reasonable-edit scope, we send a separate quote before doing it.
We tell you as soon as the request comes in, before we start work. Options: defer to next month, pay an overage at our standard project rate, or upgrade to a higher tier if it’s a recurring pattern. We don’t quietly bill overages.
Any time, prorated to the day. Email us or open a ticket from your client area. Annual plans can be upgraded mid-cycle; downgrades take effect at renewal.
